Thirty-five years ago, a battle tore through the wizarding world. People were forced to find out who and what was nearest to their hearts, and fight tooth and nail to defend it from being ripped from them. One wizard had been prophecized to lead the light, and he did. Thirty-five years ago, Lord Voldemort's reign fell, and his ideals were buried with him. Many people have moved on, the Death Eaters being tried for their crimes, or pleading for pardons. Some took straight jobs, many regretted their crimes. Life went on. The heroes that the world had put up on pedestals moved on as well. They married, got jobs... had children.

No one ever thought that someone else would decide that maybe, just maybe, Voldemort had it right. No one ever thought that someone, after Voldemort's defeat, would have the audacity to try and follow in his footsteps.

But they were wrong.

It started out slowly, creeping in on a world of peace and prosperity. No one suspected a thing as the Minister of Magic fell over dead one day - after all, the man was pushing his years. His replacement was a fine upstanding gentleman. No one suspected a thing, and slowly but surely each person in a position of authority began to change - either that, or they disappeared completely. Soon, the wizarding world found itself in a darkened state of things, before they even had time to fight back.

One man stood at the head of the helm, guiding the world further and further into darkness, destroying the undesirables as he saw fit. The question is: Who is he? Will you join him? Will you fight? Do you really have any choice?

Or will you be one of the few who remain loyal to the ideals set forth by the late Albus Dumbledore. Will you join the failing numbers of Order members who seek to rid the world of the consuming darkness?

Or perhaps the new power is your destiny.. To follow the struggle for complete power from within the leader of the new hold's own darkness.. A select few of the elite who have rejected the customs of this new Dark Lord.. The question is, who is the lesser of two evils? Where the alliances lie may just surprise even you...

Outside of the wizarding world, disaster after disaster has plagued the muggle world. Whether natural disasters or the muggles destroying each other or the wizards upping the death toll as well, only a sizable handful remain, but they're fighting back, not taking the wizards lightly at all.
